1. Who we are

Semantica Learning ("Semantica", "we", "us") provides an online learning platform with flashcards, AI tutoring, lesson generation, exam marking, and predicted exam papers (the "Service"). By using the Service you are entering into an agreement with Semantica Learning.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be of legal age in your country, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to use Semantica.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes, fraud, or spam.
• Infringe anyone's intellectual property rights.
• Interfere with the Service's security (malware, probing, scraping, etc.).
• Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.
• Use the AI features to generate illegal content, hateful content, deepfakes, malware, or to attempt to jailbreak the model.

5. AI-generated content

Semantica uses AI to generate lessons, flashcards, tutor responses, exam feedback, and predicted papers. You are responsible for your prompts, for how you use the outputs, for verifying their accuracy, and for having the right to any content you submit. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are not a substitute for qualified professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.). We may filter, restrict, or remove content and suspend accounts that repeatedly misuse the Service.

6. Intellectual property

Semantica and its content (software, design, branding, documentation) are owned by Semantica Learning. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have purchased. You retain ownership of content you submit, and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring billing of the displayed price on the stated interval until you cancel. Cancellation, refund, and billing terms are described in our refund policy.

8. Service availability

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change as we improve the product.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

10. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
